Ettlingen (core city)

The district designated the ‘core city’ comprises the original city of Ettlingen before the communal reforms of 1972-1974. Today, about 23,000 people (as of 31/12/2005) live in the core city, well over half of Ettlingen’s total population. Ettlingen lies between 120 and 141 m above sea level.
